Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using ShareOnline.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using shareonline.net (“ShareOnline”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. Note: These terms do not constitute formal legal counsel.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

ShareOnline provides temporary, direct file transmission. You agree to use the service solely for lawful personal and business communication. You may not upload, transmit, or distribute:

  • Malicious software, worms, trojans, ransomware, or exploits.
  • Files containing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or non-consensual imagery.
  • Content that infringes upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.
  • Unlawful harassment, defamatory statements, or terroristic threats.
  • Phishing materials, credential scrapers, or fraud campaigns.

3. Automated Enforcement & Content Removal

We reserve the unconditional right to immediately terminate access to, block, or delete any share that violates our acceptable use policy or applicable laws. Files reported through our abuse system are reviewed promptly and removed if found non-compliant.

4. Service Availability & File Retention

ShareOnline is an ephemeral file transfer utility, not a permanent archive or backup solution. We make no warranty that files will remain accessible indefinitely. Once the specified expiration time arrives, files are permanently deleted and unrecoverable. Always maintain local backups of important assets.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAREONLINE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DATA LOSS OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

7. Reporting Violations

If you believe content hosted on ShareOnline infringes your intellectual property or violates these terms, submit a notice via our Abuse Report form.
